I usually only made sweet muffins and I also didn’t find so much options for savoury muffins at the bread store. Tried once cheese muffin from bread store but I didn’t like so much. Nothing special inside!! But when I tried these muffins, I found incredible taste, it’s like I ate cheesy garlic bread. The smell of the garlic made these muffins so special for me!

WHAT YOU NEED FOR MAKING THESE MUFFINS

For the dry Ingredients, I use all purpose flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda

For the wet Ingredients, I use egg, milk, yogurt, garlic, canola oil, dried oregano and grated cheese

HOW TO MAKE SAVOURY CHEESE MUFFINS

For dry Ingredients :

In a medium bowl : add flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt and mix well.

For wet Ingredients :

In another bowl : add egg, milk, yogurt, canola oil, and garlic. Mix well

Pour the wet Ingredients into the dry Ingredients, and mix well until incorporated.

Add in the grated cheddar cheese. Mix until just combined (don’t over mix, so your muffins will be soft)

Pour the dough into the muffin cups (get 12 muffins) and sprinkle with grated cheddar cheese.

Bake the muffins for 25-30 minutes (depends on your oven).

In a small bowl, mix salted butter with garlic and melt in the microwave.

After you bake the muffins, brush them with the butter mixture when they’re still warm.
