CHEWY AND MOIST CHOCOLATE CRINKLE COOKIES

These Chewy Chocolate Crinkle Cookies are soft and turn out perfect! These Chocolate Crinkle Cookies are ooey-gooey on the inside and coated with powdered sugar on the outside. It’s really easy to make and perfect for any occasions.

If we are talking about celebrations : Office party, Christmas, Diwali, birthday party, whatever – It’s time to get your favorite food, and for me it’s mean to eat chocolate.

I am a chocolate addict and I love to chocolate cake or cookies, and for me these Chocolate Crinkle Cookies have a perfect taste to complete your party desserts.

WHAT YOU NEED FOR MAKING THESE CHOCOLATE CRINKLE COOKIES

Unsweetened cocoa powder, light brown sugar, caster sugar, canola oil, eggs, vanilla extract, all purpose flour, baking powder, salt and powdered sugar or icing sugar.

HOW TO MAKE THESE CHOCOLATE CRINKLE COOKIES

In a medium bowl, add together cocoa powder, caster sugar, brown sugar and canola oil. Mix until well incorporated.

Add in eggs and beat until well combined.

Add in vanilla extract and beat again until well incorporated.

Sift together flour, salt and baking powder into the cocoa powder mixture. Mix well with spatula. (Don’t over mix)

Cover the bowl with plastic cling wrap and store in the fridge for 3-4 hours.

After 3 hours, preheat your oven 180 degrees C or 350 degrees F, open the plastic cling wrap and scoop the dough with a spoon or you can use ice cream scoop also. Make the dough into a small ball and coat with powdered sugar. Transfer the dough onto the prepared baking board and press little bit with your hand. Repeat for all the dough. Bake the dough for 12 minutes.

  • 60 grams (3/4 cup) unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 95 grams (1/2 cup) brown sugar
  • 95 grams (1/2 cup) caster sugar
  • 50 grams (1/4 cup) canola oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 120 grams (1 cup) all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 60 grams (1/2 cup) powdered sugar

Instructions

Note :
1. You can use granulated sugar instead of caster sugar
2. After you store the dough in the fridge, the dough will be little bit harder, but that's fine and will not make the dough spread a lot while you bake the dough.
