ALMOND CRESCENT COOKIES

I just love my Crescent Cookies. Perfectly flavored, melt-in-my-mouth, delicious, and super easy to make. Almond Crescent Cookies are amazing for your holiday and Christmas treats. Sweet and incredibly delicious, dipped in dark chocolate, these cookies are a totally awesome!

These Almond crescent cookies already in my list for my Christmas cookies. When I made these cookies, 2 days they already disappeared from the cookie jar. So I decided I will make them again before Christmas.

WHAT YOU NEED FOR MAKING THESE COOKIES

Butter : I use salted butter

Margarine : I use Belle Sunflower margarine

Sugar : you need powdered sugar

Egg yolk : from large egg

Salt

Almond flour

Flour : I use all purpose flour

Baking powder

HOW TO MAKE THESE COOKIES

In a medium bowl : Add butter, margarine, salt and powdered sugar, beat for 2 minutes until light and fluffy.

Add in egg yolk and beat again until incorporated

Add in almond flour and mix well using spatula.

Sift the flour and baking powder into butter mixture. Mix well with spatula until incorporated.

Make the dough into a small ball on your hands, roll the dough and make a crescent. Transfer all the dough onto the baking sheet.

Bake the cookies for 30-35 minutes with 140 degrees C or 284 degrees F.

After completely cool, dip the cookies in melted dark chocolate. Let the chocolate become hard.

Dust with powdered sugar.

Ingredients
  

  • 75 gram (1/3 cup) Margarine
  • 100 gram 1/4 cup+3 tbsp) Salted butter
  • 100 gram (0.8 cup) Powdered sugar
  • 1 Egg yolk
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 100 gram (1 cup) Almond flour
  • 230 grams (1 cup+7/8 cup) All Purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp Baking powder
  • Dark cooking chocolate for dipping
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven 140 degrees C or 284 degrees F. Line your baking sheet with baking paper.
  • In a medium bowl : Add butter, margarine, salt and powdered sugar, beat for 2 minutes until light and fluffy.
  • Add in egg yolk and beat again until incorporated
  • Add in almond flour and mix well using spatula.
  • Sift the flour and baking powder into butter mixture. Mix well with spatula until incorporated.
  • Make the dough into a small ball on your hands, roll the dough and make a crescent. Transfer all the dough onto the baking sheet. Bake for 30-35 minutes.
  • Let the cookies cool on the Baking sheet. After completely cool, dip the cookies in melted dark chocolate. And let the chocolate become hard.
  • Dust the cookies with powdered sugar. Enjoy!!!
